New Discoveries at Chichen

In August we heard about the discovery of a subterranean river discovered beneath the Chichen Itza ruins.  Mexico’s National Autonomous University scientists say they found a subterranean cavity about 20 metres deep below the pyramid of Kukulkan, also known as El Castillo.


And now today, there is news of a much older "original" structure within the visible pyramid.
