Santiago - our neighborhood

The oldest coffee shop in Merida is on the opposiste side of our block.
The Plaza of Santiago is a meeting place -- for taxis and city buses, , supermarket, pharmacy, 24 hr convenience store, vegetable, fruit, and flower markets -- and typical food stalls abound. There's also a cobbler, first run movie theatre, barber, Chinese restaurant, paint and hardware stores. And benches in a well-tended park for passing idle hours and waiting for romance.
